I want to take you baby
I want to take you out
I want to wine and dine you
Oh I want to twist and twist and shout
I want you hot in my arms
So soft on my bed
You get the key to my heart
Oh when you wear that sweet dress

But you're too physical physical to me
You're just too physical physical no to me

I want your rough house baby
I want this right in your ear
You let me feel your danger
I let you make this feeling clear here
I want the touch of your charms
The heat of your breath
I want to say all those things
That would be better unsaid
No

But you're too physical physical to me
You're just too physical oh
You're too physical for me
You're too physical to me
You're really jus- just too- just
Too really f*ck no

You're just too physical [x2]
Too f*cking physical
No [x7]
Oh you're too physical
Just too physical
Just too

I love Adam Ant, but this song is really good, They did justice to it. I think it's about how he feels for Adam ant.

Haha, this is such a big f*cking middle finger to TVT Records it's not even funny.

At 0:29 or so, Trent whispers in the background, "Eat your heart out, Steve".

"Steve" is Steve Gottlieb, the president of TVT. He was the source of Trent's rage on all of Broken. As you know, this is a cover song, and a "hidden track". They had to go through a bunch of copyright bullsh*t, and basically Steve thought Trent couldn't pull it off.

Adam Ant does this on the original as well, and is basically a middle finger Do-It records.

"The Adam Ant version of "Physical" also has whispering, most notable at the beginning he says "Eat Your Heart Out, Do-It. You can't do it, can ya?". Adam Ant was referring to Do-It Records, a label they were on."

    My Interpretation

I don't understand the gaps in understanding on this song. I saw a comment saying he clearly wants the physical, but then complains that SHE is too physical, when that isn't what's happening here.

Yes, he wants the physical, he talks about the physical, but the physical is only half of this situation. This song ia a clear ask for an emotional connection, and this includes sex. He's seeing the sexual relationship as more—intimacy, sharing vulnerabilities, stripping down. He wants everything from her. But she's too physical. He sees sex as part of an emotional connection. She sees sex as ...sex. He needs more, and she's not giving that to him.

This.. I find weird coming from a mans point of view... To me it sounds like this. Trent wants to get serious with someone. He wants to have commitment. His heart already belongs to her. But she's too physical. She wants only a sexual relationship.Even though it also sounds like he hasn't had sex with her yet.So that also led me to think.. "Too physical" Physical is just another word for "real." Maybe he thinks he doesn't stand a chance with this woman because he sees himself as a fake.(Though I could never see Trent as viewing himself in that way. But the song isn't necesarilly about him either.) Or even if not a fake, just not standing a chance.

i think its really the guy who's too physical.this girl is deadly, and when the guy thinks about her he knows he wants to be with her emotionally. then he actually sees her and cant think about anything but sex. they have a relationship based on sex and he wants more, she does too, but he cant show his emotions to her because he is so f*cking turned on whenever they're together

This song oozes sex. I don't think love or romance really has a place in the relationship being addressed, judging by the verses. I find there to be some sarcasm in the chorus, or perhaps saying the girl wears him out sexually. I've never heard the original, but this version rocks - it's just so damn sexy.

I think this is the best cover Trent has done, hands down, that I can think of at the moment.

Mental Istid Ebba Grön This is one of my favorite songs. https://fnfgo.io Just A Little Lovin' Dusty Springfield I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/ Plastic Bag Ed Sheeran “Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it.“I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better. Midnight Ed Sheeran “Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms.“Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
